Designed to be used on either the front or the rear of your vehicle, these parking sensors have been designed to upgrade the current parking sensors in your vehicle by simply pushing through the existing holes to fit. With this upgrade, a whole host of benefits. These include parking sensors with 58K sensors for better coverage and excellent stability, an extendable stopping distance from 30cm to 50cm which allows the sensors to be programmed to ignore tow bars, nudge bars, steps, and spare wheels, making them perfect for fitting to leisure vehicles which may have these things, and a 5-stage audible warning buzzer with adjustable tone pitch and volume.

Further features include the option to add a visual display, with the Steel Mate PTS400EX Dual Purpose Front or Rear Parking Sensors being compatible with the DS1 & DS2 visual displays from Steel Mate.

To ensure you are suitably alerted, these parking sensors have a 5-stage audible warning buzzer with adjustable tone pitch and volume.

Designed for all-weather use, the Steel Mate PTS400EX Dual Purpose Front or Rear Parking Sensors have a heavy rainproof design and have been engineered to be able to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C

Easy to install, the sensor hole size is 19mm in diameter. The visible external diameter of the sensor head is 22.9mm with a depth of 20.1mm and they have detachable cables and the option to change the sensor head angle between 4 and 10 degrees with a removable angled clip-on ring, which is included in the kit. Should you wish to use these parking sensors on the front of a vehicle, a set of 2.3m sensor extension cables or 4.5m cables must be purchased.
